7/Stats Screen and Replayability

At this stage, the game was starting to shape up and was beginning to look and sound how I wanted it to when I started the project. However, it still lacked some pomp and ceremony for when the player actually managed to beat the game or had been felled by the seemingly never-ending onslaught of demons - It was clear to me that I needed more than a 'Well Done' or 'Game Over' screen...

In order to fix this, I built a statistics page that appears at the end of the game and tells the player almost everything about their attempt: How many bolts they fired, how many of each enemy they killed, how long they took to do it etc.

I found this added some longevity and replayability to the game, as players could now compete to see who could complete a round the fastest or how many mega demons they could kill, etc.
